Peacemaker Wisdom #3 of 360:
You are a child of God.

¹⁸“Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.”

Prayer:Heavenly Father, help me as one of your children. A child that simply trusts you, loves you, and obeys you. In Jesus’ name Amen.

John emphasized being a child of God. Look at 1 John 3:

⁹“No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God’s seed remains in them; they cannot go on sinning, because they have been born of God. ¹⁰This is how we know who the children of God are and who the children of the devil are: Anyone who does not do what is right is not God’s child, nor is anyone who does not love their brother and sister. ¹¹For this is the message you heard from the beginning: We should love one another.

Application: Write down some practical actions, behaviors, and words that you can begin to do to show you are a child of God.

Loving With Words.

 Prayer:Heavenly Father, help me to not just talk love but help me to demonstrate love as well. In Jesus’ name Amen.

Application: Write down words or phrases of encouragement you could begin to use to encourage those you are in conflict with.

Loving with actions.

Application: Write down some practical actions, behaviors that you can begin to implement to show loving actions to those you are in conflict with.
